How To Brush Your Teeth Correctly
Brushing teeth is the most basic and important way to maintain oral health. mastering the correct way of brushing can effectively remove dental plaque and food residues, and prevent oral problems such as dental caries and gingivitis.
First of all, choose appropriate tools. the toothbrush should be soft-bristled, and the size of the brush head should be able to flexibly reach all parts of the oral cavity; fluoride-containing toothpaste is better, which can enhance the anti-caries ability of teeth.
Secondly, master the correct brushing posture. hold the toothbrush at a 45-degree angle to the teeth, gently place it at the junction of the gums and teeth, and make small circular vibrations. the amplitude of each vibration is about 1-2 millimeters to ensure that the bristles can go deep into the interdental spaces for cleaning. for the inner side of the front teeth, the toothbrush can be held vertically, and the front part of the brush head can be used to clean up and down.
Then, control the brushing time and frequency. brush your teeth for at least 2 minutes each time. it is recommended to brush in sections (such as upper left, upper right, lower left, lower right) to ensure that each area is brushed; brush at least twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. rinsing your mouth after meals can help clean.
In addition, be careful not to use too much force to avoid damaging the gums and tooth enamel. after brushing, clean the toothbrush thoroughly, shake off the water, and place it in a ventilated and dry place to avoid bacterial growth.
